This stuff definitely helps with focus and gives a nice subtle edge. It's the only pre workout I've taken that doesn't give me an upset stomach. It tastes bland, especially when it settles. So remember to stir it after every sip.

Both my brother and I mixed this in with our pre-workout aminos ( and I've got to say...it's a very nice non-stimulant herbal blend. One of the better ones out there. I was also surprised by the taste -- it was much more mild than I expected it to be. It has an earthy/fruity aftertaste on it's own, which I sort of enjoyed. I think with adding Ginkgo Biloba, & Cordyceps would help round this into something a little more formidable. Very nice though.

I love this pre-workout drink, it's perfect for work and school as well. I get the same kick as a cup of coffee but without the edge.

This is the first pre workout I have tried. I absolutely love it!! I drink it about 15 to 20 minutes before my workout and I feel energy right away. I am pretty sensitive to caffeine so this stuff is perfect, and it leaves me feeling energized all day without any kind of crash. I like mixing it with coconut water because just mixing it with water is very bland. I only mix it with water when I want to cut back on my calories and carbohydrates. Coconut water and Vega energizer is a good combo! Gives me energy super quick and I feel like a beast at the gym :P no bad side effects whatsoever!

Really enjoy this as a pre-workout to biking to school or some cardio around the neighbourhood. I usually dilute it double of what the instructions say, as it can be alittle too gritty. Paired this with green pea protein for when i was a health/hippie who liked to do some crossfit years ago

This is a product that I like to cycle with other pre-workouts. For example one day ill use Craze, or another pre-workout then the next day ill use this and go back and forth that way my tolerance for more intense pre-workouts doesn't get to high. It's plant based and all natural so you can't expect it to be as intense as other pre-workouts. For the average person looking for a good energy boost throughout the day or for their workout this is great for that. However for more intense athletes or bodybuilders unless they want to take a break from the harsh-chemical filled pre-workouts (which I recommend doing) this product won't give you the same desired results.

DISCLAIMER: THIS PRE WORKOUT IS THE FIRST I'VE EVER TAKEN, SO TAKE THIS REVIEW WITH A GRAIN OF SALT AS I HAVE NO BASE TO COMPARE THIS PRODUCT TO This pre workout was okay at best. There was a nice boost of immediate energy and for my first few sets of squats, I banged out 4 more reps than usual. There wasn't much sustained energy. Energy levels plateaued about 30 minutes into the workout. After 45 minutes, energy levels dropped fairly quick. The taste was bad; very sour and chalky; a vitamin like taste. I will say that for a completely plant based product, the taste was decent, and to be fair, there were hints of lemon and lime in the taste. I'll have to try more pre workouts to have a base to compare this to, but for someone who hasn't taken pre workouts before, this product was disappointing.

This is a great alternative to any jittery feeling pre-workout drink. This is for non-bodybuilders who need a little energy before a morning workout. My doctor gave it the thumbs up, so that's a good sign.

I have been a cross country and track runner ever since my freshman year of high school and I am currently entering my senior year. I have improved significantly, and I was looking forward to an easier year considering the fact that I now have 3 years of experience. However, for the past several months my health issues have consumed my abilities. I have something called Autoimmue Disease, and in short, it's like your body's immune system suffers and your energy is completely zapped. I am a person who hates taking naps, however I have had no choice lately. I could sleep for 10 hours one night and still have no energy all day long. I also have asthma, and I get winded quickly. Over a year and a half ago I decided to become a vegetarian for ethical reasons, but more recently I have also had to cut out many other foods such as gluten, dairy, eggs and more because of the Autoimmune Disease. I used a medicine called Advair for my asthma, but I learned that there was Fluoride in it and I wasn't comfortable with putting that in my body, so I switched medicines. My body completely self destructed. I did all of these things at different times so I can't pinpoint a certain area, but I had no energy at all. My legs felt like they weighed 100 pounds each and my breathing became out of control. I lost motivation and tried anything to get back. This didn't last for like a week either, but it lasted all winter, all spring, and now into the summer. I went on many medicines including Asthmanex and Symbicort, and I ended up deciding to go back to Advair. None of those things helped. I made a difficult decision to reintroduce meat; that didn't help either. In giving up meat, I had lost 7 pounds and yet that didn't help me either (I was never overweight or even chubby though). So I saw this product and decided to try it, and I had incredible results. My legs felt light and energized, I felt more motivated, I felt alert in the morning, and it completely changed my running abilities. I don't know if I can say it helped my breathing at all, but I didn't get tired until much much later in my workout. Before, I would run 100 meters and be winded, but now I have more endurance and can do things I was able to do before. I would definitely recommend this product. The results may not be as significant unless someone who took it had felt as crappy as I had for such a long time, but this was the ONLY thing that helped me, even more than prescription medication and loads of protein, and I will never use anything else.

This stuff is like vegan meth. It's gets you energized and good to go. The taste though is a work in progress. Like other products from Vega, gluten free, no dairy, no soy, it's all natural made from roots, herbs and fruits. Worth trying.

I think this product works OK. I doesn't give the same intense focus and energy as PWO that are caffeine based but it does the job. I did get a pretty good pump, energy and focus. The taste however is pretty bad:( I just try to drink it down as quick as possible. With PWO like N.O. Explode with taking it as early as 8am I still found it hard to get to & sleep through the night, even after cutting the dose in half!! I think I will stick with this one. Also, I was diagnosed with HBP (that will change) and this doesn't race your heart or give jitters.

It didn't give me that much energy, one of the weaker preworkouts I've tried. The flavor also wasn't very good.

I love this stuff! I always take it before an intense workout and it's always treated me well, it keeps me focused and energized. Definitely weight the full 20 minutes before you begin your routine though because it takes that long to kick-in. I'm a vegan, and I also tend to get headaches from things like aspartame and sucralose, and this is vegan friendly and doesn't contain artificial sweeteners. I wish more product were this good. Only problem is it tastes horrible (in my opinion), but the bad taste only lasts a minute.

I love this stuff! I don't have a product to directly compare this to because I refuse to put foreign chemicals and fillers into my body. My workout partners would always take some crazy caffeine loaded pre-workout drink and another heavily fluffed protein shake, post-workout. I would just rely on my body's natural ability to produce the energy I needed and follow up with Vega Protien about 1 hour after. This worked fine until I started doing crossfit 5 days a week. For the past month I have been sporadically near the top of the board (time/reps) and afterwards, I would be completely wrecked. You would find me on my back on the floor 10-15 minutes after, and sitting on a bench for 10 more before I could even get into my car. During this past week, I was at the top of the board (#1) 3 times and very close the other two days. During the workouts, my breaks were minimal and I was able to get back on it at max effort. Afterwards, I would walk around while catching my breath and be on my way home within 10 minutes, feeling great! My comparison is solely based on workouts with and without a pre-workout mix. For now, this will be the only one I use because nothing else on the market can compare to the natural ingredients of Vega Sport.

I bought a packet of this just to try it out. This pre workout didn't really give me that much energy for my workouts. It gave me some energy but not as much as other preworkouts I have used. The flavor was decent but I didn't really like it.

I don't think I've ever given a review before, but that's how important I think it is to spread the word about this product. My experience with pre-workout supplements is extensive. I've used the following more than once, with many other one timers: -Jack3d -NO Xplode -Superpump 250 -HYPER FX -C4 What I began to experience is an increased resting heart rate due to huge amount of caffeine intake. This affected my cardio mostly, but also manifested in a decrease in my ability to do circuit training (cardio, still) and high rep/low weight Olympic lifts and leg routines. As such, I began to search for a stimulant free PWO. Most supplement free PWOs include green tea, which still has a significant amount of caffeine in it. This product does include green tea extracts, but the difference is substantial. I still do not recommend using this product if you plan focusing solely on cardio/circuit training, despite what some have said. However, if you are looking for a cleaner (not completely clean, there are none) product to cycle into your PWO kit, I highly recommend this. Mixability - The Lemon mixes quite a bit better than the Acai Berry, but both seem to mix fine. It'll take a few extra shakes/stirs than other brands, however. Taste - Lemon is fine. Acai is better. Both are not super saturated with sugar, so they will not be anything amazing. Acai does have a "refreshing" taste since it's not as sweet. Effects - This is the important category. With other supplements, you will know when it begins to work. You kind of just have to take Vega and head to the gym. With other PWOs, I've found the window to be as small as 5-10 minutes before I begin to feel it. With Vega, it is a bit closer to 30 minutes, which is fine. The vascularity, intensity and focus aren't as strong with this product, but the trade off is that you're not polluting your body will garbage. The key take away, if you're still reading this, is that although the FDA does not regulate supplements, the fact that this product is vegan makes me feel a bit more comfortable taking it. Jack3d was touted as the be all/end all PWO for people in the military. A year later, the soldiers were beginning to come up positive on drug tests. I would be surprised if anything in this product would cause this. Overall, I am very pleased with this. I still keep a random bottle of whatever faddish PWO comes out, for use when I want *a* pump, but this is what I use a majority of the time.

Gives you a bit of energy but the lemon lime flavour is so awful i cant even use it anymore, tastes like plants

This is by far one of the worst pre work out supplements I have taken! I have been working out for years using the basic NO pre work out formulas and have been very satisfied. I am an intense trainer and was looking for a natural alternative, but despite the natural benefits it just does not provide the energy and affect I need for my type of work out.
