Optimum Lift Bar Reviews

Apr 5, 2009 10:42 am: Taste: I recieved a Quadruple Chocolate flavor of LIFT bar and the taste was amazing. I really liked it. Outer layer of chocolate was in perfect balance with inner almost browny like chocolate filling. It is also not too sweet like many other protein bars that are so sweet that you can't even stand eating them. Texture: Texture was great. The bar was a little bit crunchy, and chewy. It wasn't dry or chalky, so I didn't have to chug down a ton of water just to make a protein bar go down my esophagus. It was moist and felt like I was eating a candy bar and not a protein bar. Calories and Nutrition only 250 calories which is good for a meal replacement protein bar. I didn't like that it had 22 grams of sugars (although it does make it taste great). I also would want to have more protein in the bar, like between 25 and 30 grams. Apetite LIFT bar did satisfy my apetite and I wasn't hungry for more food afterwards which is very good, because many other protein bars don't satisfy my hunger so I have to eat more food which leads to higher calorie consumption. Aftertaste I didn't really like the after taste. It was kind of wierd, however the pleasant taste of the LIFT bar makes up for the wierd after taste. Overal scoreI would give LIFT bar a 9 out of 10, and think it's a great protein bar. I would definetly purchase them in the future from bb.com
