NOW Melatonin

Sep 24, 2009 3:30 am: I am a chronic insomniac and I have tried over-the-counter and prescription sleeping pills to help me fall asleep. I have found that a combination of 5-hydroxytryptophan(5htp), valerian root,and melatonin works better than any sleeping pills I have ever tried. Experiment with your dosage until you figure out how much you need to sleep well without feeling too drowsy when you wake up. I highly recommend this supplement/combination of supplements to anyone who has trouble falling asleep or to athletes/bodybuilders who whould like to enhance their recovery by inducing better quality REM sleep.
