Jun 18, 2009 5:04 am: It's a great product. For the number of servings you get of Maca per container, Life-Flo Maca Gold is great. The closest way to discribe the taste is like "burnt toast". I mix about 3000-6200 mg (1-2 scoops, 2 scoops = 1 serving) with my protein shake each day. If you're not familiar with Maca, it's a naturally occuring root that only grows in the Peruvian Andes. Inca warriors were known to eat large amounts of maca root prior to battle. Supplementing with at least 1500-3000 mg of Maca per day has been shown to improve libido and semen volume over time, and I can attest from personal experience that it does. I highly recommend this product as I feel it helps men maintain a healthy reproductive system.
