This was the first protein supp I ever used. It is great as a meal replacement or for normal post-workout. Has a good amount of calories and carbs to give you energy to recover well. Some people complain about that, but be real, your body needs some carbs to recover and function properly. Taste is great for most flavors. Good all around product, I highly recommend it for people who are just starting to get into bodybuilding.

I use this as more of a meal replacement, due to the high calories. The chocolate flavor is decent, but the flavor isn't something I necessarily look forward to. It mixes decently, but again not great and lots of the powder seems to end up caked onto the side of your cup as a sticky sludge - who knows how much powder is being wasted each time you mix up a serving of this. Also, your cup won't just 'rinse' clean, like you can get away with a few times with other protein powders. All in all, it is a cheap meal replacement option and will fill you up. Use milk instead of water for a better tasting 'treat' if you have a craving for something sweeter.

The reason I continue to purchase Muscle Milk is the flavor, it tastes great and I havent gotten sick of it, which is saying a lot. I even bought a 5lb tub, which shows how serious I am about my love for Muscle Milk. I leave my Muscle Milk at work, because it is a simple and convenient meal to eat when you are in a rush. I particularly enjoy the Chocolate flavor. It is smooth, and mixes well. I also have the Chocolate Malt flavor, which is very similar to the Chocolate, I would s****est either flavor. I take two scoops at a time for one serving, because I try to ensure that I am taking 30g of protein per meal. In two scoops Muscle Milk gives you 32g protein, 18g carbs, 12g fat. This is a very good ratio, especially for a meal replacement.

By far my favorite protein, no matter the flavor it is always great tasting.

I used this for a period of time and while I was just starting out and had no basis for comparison, I was not a big fan. The flavor was not good at all and I noticed no difference between taking it, and not. I bought some BNS Syntha 6 and I just started using it so hopefully I'll see a big difference.

A great tasting protein that gets the job done. It's something that I use for when I clean bulk. It does have a rather high amount of carbs and fat when compared to something like ON's Whey. I've seen people complain about the fats and carbs in the shake, but these are there for a reason...I use the fats and carbs to help hit my macros and the shake does come in really handy as a post workout shake, yet it can also stand alone as a meal replacement alone because of its macro balance. I would highly recommend this for anyone, it just depends on your goals. If you're trying to lose weight it can fit in as long you account for your caloric and macro balance for your overall day. Overall a great casein/whey mix, a good macro balance, and has a taste you wouldn't despise.

The Mocha Latte (Monster Milk) was my favorite protein mix. They stopped making it recently, so I sent an email to CytoSport to find out what happened. Customer Service informed me it was obsolete, but Muscle Milk had the same flavor. I purchased a 2.5lb tub to try it... First, it has no similarity whatsoever to the Monster Milk one. I'm not sure why they called it Mocha Latte, it does not taste like Mocha Latte at all. I'm a big CytoSport fan, but this one missed the mark. Sorry, Cyto.

Muscle Milk is at the bottom of the food chain when it comes to Postworkout shakes. Stick to the other top name brands, not this one.

Did not like the taste at all. It works and everything but I can't get over the taste. And the servings are huge also

Oh man, I love Muscle Milk. I use it sparingly because it is a little higher in calories and fat than my normal protein powder. First of all - they offer some amazing flavors - no lie. Brownie Batter and Cake Batter are exactly as described - freaking delicious! I've used Muscle Milk as a shake, mixed into a pudding (with a little cold almond milk), mixed into some oatmeal, baked into protein pancakes, etc. It's so versatile! Now that I think about it, I should add one or two back into my rotation!

I buy it simply because the cookies n' creme flavor with milk tastes better then most milk shakes and I use it when Im in the mood for a quick protein packed snack. Love the taste.

I took this when I first began working out, then stopped when a gym buddy told me that it would make me fat... that's complete malarkey. This product contains mostly healthy fats, and decent carbs. That being said if you're trying to gain lean muscle mass I wouldn't recommend this for anything other than a meal replacement. In addition it was the first milk based product to cause my lactose intolerance to act up. (I'm not saying it caused the development, just that it bothers my stomach, and will probably bother yours if you're lactose intolerant too). Overall it's not bad if you're bulking or looking for a quick meal, however I wouldn't use it as a post workout shake.
