May 25, 2009 7:44 pm: Its too bad the negatives on this shake outweigh its positives. I really liked the taste and also I had pretty good stable energy levels, and good mental cognition. I had some of my most creative days and strength in the gym drinking this. Sadly, i'll have to give it up. I don't know what they put in here, but surely its definitely not good for your digestive system. I experienced no bloating, BUT I had a leaky butt, had to go to the restroom to clean myself every hour and also it turns your poo into the color of brick red/brown. I know this sounds very direct, but damn thats what people are afraid to say. Pros: Decent taste No round belly bloat Greater physical performance, stable energy. Great cognitive performance. Staves off hunger Cons: Turns your poo reddish and gives you leaky butt, basically you'll go to the bathroom to wipe every hour. This was indeed very inconvenient. Aapartame; studies show that aspartame may spike insulin like sugar and or cause various types of illness or disease. Artificial sweeteners are a touchy subject. Hard to obtain at most retailers, must mail order. Other flavors do not include much fiber except chocolate. Maltodextrin as the only carb source, should be a slow, fast and medium system or at least a better than Malto source.
